Honey, I love you. I really do.

It’s no secret that I’m a honey enthusiast.

I can’t tell you when my love affair first began. I’m guessing around five years old. I remember being spoon fed honey when I had a sore throat. Now that I’m a mother, I rely on this ancient sweetener for healing, too.

I’m constantly on the hunt for new brands of honey to try and share with you. I was in Big Bear recently, and bought 7 jars of raw honey. The cashier said, “Wow! That’s a lot of honey.”

Really, guy?? This stuff is medicinal. Okay, maybe I was a little defensive. But just so you know guy, I can’t get enough of this sticky stuff. It’s like liquid gold for the digestive system.

To be honest, I thought everyone ate honey by the gallon. Until I left home at nineteen and realized that some people don’t like the taste. Or, that it takes some families one year to get through the classic bear bottle.

If that’s you, don’t worry we can still be friends.
